Nancy Ruth

Nancy Ruth is a Canadian-born singer, songwriter, composer, and pianist whose career has spanned five continents over nearly four decades. Berklee-trained with Royal Conservatory roots, she blends jazz, Latin, and flamenco influences into a distinctive sound shaped by more than twenty years living in Málaga, Spain.

Her career began touring Canada with bands Axess, Aces High and Renaissance, followed by five years starring in the musical Beaver Creek Rendezvous in Canada's Yukon Territory. She has since performed internationally — from a 14-date Australian tour to Canada's du Maurier International Jazz Festival, Senegal's Festival du Saint-Louis (Africa's largest jazz festival), Disney's Sessions and Cadillac Jazz Clubs, and an artist residency at the Royal Palace of the Sultan of Brunei, where she sang in both Malay and Indonesian.

Nancy has collaborated with musicians from around the world, including members of the New York Philharmonic, Grammy-winning engineer Oscar Zambrano, arranger Joe Gianono, and artists across Morocco, Spain, and Latin America. Following her Spanish-language album Me Quedo, she created and starred in Trío Pasión, a theatrical concert celebrating the music of Spain and Latin America that toured internationally. Her original songs "Llórame" and "Sigo Viviendo" appear in the Spanish feature film La Ley Del Embudo, streaming on Amazon Prime and FlixOlé.

Across five studio albums and a catalogue that has earned U.S. jazz radio airplay, Nancy's music draws on the rich traditions of jazz, Latin America, and Spain. Her new intimate duo show brings that same expressive storytelling and musicianship into a stripped-back setting — close, connected, and built for rooms where every note and lyric lands.
